Amitabh Bachchan is in Chennai for the opening ceremony of the fifth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) which he is hosting. The Bollywood superstar received a surprise visitor in the Presidential Suite of the Taj Coromandel where he is staying. It was none other than Tamil Superstar, Rajinikanth.

The two have always shared a warm rapport and have the highest regard for each other. Amitabh had been hospitalized recently and had to undergo abdominal surgery and Rajini wanted to check in on him and make sure that his friend is feeling fine. Amitabh was deeply touched with the gesture and said that it was a delight to see Rajini and he appeared to have made a full recovery from his own illness.
