Like the 14 years Vanavas in 'Sri Ramayana', it is 14 years later come back to the fold of T.S.Nagabharana for upcoming hero Vijaya Raghavendra. 14 years ago he worked in 'Chinnari Mutha' of director T.S.Nagabharana and got a national award as best child actor. Now he is again after 14 years with Nagabharana as director in 'Kallarali Hoovagi'. This is a coincidence for art director Appaya too.

This opportunity is an excellent one for me. I don't think I would get this type of experience ever in my life. First I was asked for read the novel 'KH' by my father Mr Chinne Gowda. From night 11.30 pm till early morning 5.15 am I finished reading the novel. At the fag end of the novel I was really impressed. Each day 1500 junior artists around for shoot was a tough job Bharana made very easy. I learnt 'Kalari' fights for 'Kallarali Hooavagi' and horse riding in 15 days. Those who come on horse have all learnt horse riding including actress Uma in this film.
