They use tard names as sort of an inside joke to protect their identity and privacy. They have been vlogging every day for over 3 years now and the viewers have been along for the ride, witnessing Shay (dad) losing over 100lb, the birth of Rocktard, and, recently, the death of their 9-year-old great dane.
