MusicMazaa.com ( January 19, 2007 )
2006 was the year that gave us RANG DE BASANTI. And it is going to rain COLORS in 2007, especially in coming months. How? Well let us explain!
Come February 09 and Vikram Bhatt uleashes his romantic thriller RED starring Aftab Shivdasani, Celina Jaitley and Amrita Arora. Looking quite a passionate exciting flick, it is expected to justify the relevance of its title.
On the same day arrives Anurag Kashyap's BLACK FRIDAY which narrates the incidents of the day that proved to be a black spot in Indian history.
In the same month, a relatively unknown film called RED SWASTIK sees a release too. A sex'n'revenge tale, the film is being publicized with quotable quotes from Sherlyn Chopra, a wannabe Mallika Sherawat.
Subhash Ghai and Anil Kapoor unite with an interestingly titled film BLACK N WHITE that tells the story of a lead protagonist who is a terrorist. Looking at a May release, it will be Ghai's next directorial venture after KISNA.
On the other hand Vishal Bhardwaj's long-time-back-finished film THE BLUE UMBRELLA too sees a release. Acquired by UTV, it has Pankaj Kapur as the only known face in the film.
Red, Black, White, Blue - Which one is your choice?
