Muktha Arts wild Bull running fast with glory

Getting this kind of acclaim and recognition for their first attempt with a Marathi film has come as a big booster for Muktha Arts and also to the complete cast and crew of 'Valu-The Wild Bull'.

A simple story of a wild bull on loose in the village kusavade and the events that unfold in the midst of the desperate attempt to catch it and the interesting characters that make the movie so fascinating received a standing ovation at the Rotterdam Film Festival.

Directed by Umesh Vinayak Kullarni and with the perfect output from Marathi Cinema's highly talented actors such as Atul kulkarni, Dr.Mohan Agashe, Dilip Prabhavalkar, Bharati Acharkar, Girish Kulkarni, Nirmitee Sawant among others the film turned out to be an experience that people from all age groups can enjoy.

The film will be cherished by the present generation as well as the generations to come simply because the story will retain its charm and simplicity and do not depend on a trend or give out a feeling that can get outdated.

The movie which is being acclaimed world wide in the film festival circuit will be screened at the 43rd Karlovy Vary International Film Festival which starts on July 4 and winds up on July 12, 2008.

The Marathi movie has also been selected for the Pennsylvania Silk Screen Film Festival.

By buying the rights for distribution across India for 'Valu- The Wild Bull', Muktha Arts has proved their intent for up lifting and promotion of the Marathi Film Industry, which exists silently with a low profile in the same land which gave birth to the colossal Bollywood.
