IFC releases JAB WE MET overseas

JAB WE MET will be the next overseas release of Studio 18 - Viacom 18 for the Indian Film Company (IFC).

A keenly anticipated mega-budget rom-com, "JAB WE MET" (literally, When We Met), features real-life (allegedly) love birds and stars, SHAHID KAPUR and KAREENA KAPOOR .

Says Tanuj Garg, Head - UK & Europe, International Motion Pictures, "JAB WE MET is a light breezy saga about young love against a cultural North-Indian backdrop with music by Pritam, whose recent compositions in "Awarapan", "Dhoom : 2" and "Kya Love Story Hai", to name a few, have rocked the charts."

He adds, "The film also marks the return of the romantic duo earlier seen in the box-office hits, "CHUP CHUP KE" and "36 CHINA TOWN" (2005), with Shahid's previous solo smash hit being "VIVAAH" (2006)."

"JAB WE MET" will have a wide release worldwide on October 26, with the possibility of advance previews in the UK on October 25. The soundtrack releases worldwide on T-Series on September 20.
