Mankatha release postponed!

Here is a breaking news regarding Thala Ajith’s 50th film. So far the team of Mankatha went on saying that the film’s release is scheduled on Ajith’s birthday i.e. May 1st, 2011. But the recent reports claim that the film has been rescheduled due to some reasons. Let’s hear that in director Venkat Prabhu’s words.

Venkat Prabhu has quoted this in a leading newspaper “We have decided to release the film in June as our schedule has been extended. As the film revolves around cricket and mafia betting it contains lots of action sequences and for this stunts we are moving to Mumbai today (March 16). We will be back only in the second week of April and by that time we will be left with two more songs to picturize. So we decided to postpone”.

This can be taken as a clear indication from the team and as the IPL and elections are also nearing this would be the best option for the film to do good at the box office.
