Will Sonam be Dhanush's heroine?

Dhanush's first Hindi film is going to be Raanjhnaa, directed by Anand Rai who delivered the sleeper hit, Tanu Weds Manu last year. This project is to be produced by Eros. The National Award winning actor whose Kolaveri Di catapulted him to another league is perfecting his Hindi diction and is also beefing up for the role. In the meantime, the hunt is on for the heroine. Sources reveal that the first choice is Sonam Kapoor.

The actress has been approached for some big projects in South Indian cinema but for various reasons nothing has materialized. Now she is considering this project seriously as she is yet to have a big hit and wants to be more careful with career decisions. Since Dhanush has the luck and Anand has proved himself with Tanu Weds Manu it is expected that she will do the film. An official announcement will be out soon.
