I Must Thank My Cast, says Rohit Shetty

'I must thank Ajay, Arshad, Sharman and Tushar for the amazing chemistry displayed by them,' says Rohit Shetty, the director of 'Golmaal-Fun Unlimited' that released last Friday with favorable reviews. 'The kind of intensity and homework done by the cast was really overwhelming and it shows in the final output,' he adds. Rohit Shetty will be a director in demand as the film trade is buzzing with positive vibrations about his 'Golmaal'.

'The start at the box office was slightly low at about 85% but by the word of mouth, it touched 90% on the Friday show itself. It was 90% on Saturday again. And on Sunday it was 100%. Overall the weekend results have been 93%,' he says excitedly. Now a 93% means 'Golmaal' did a 'Fanaa'. I guess, the second film director has gone a bit overboard. There's no doubting that this film is good but the bomb scare at PVR cinema in Delhi and the bomb blasts in Mumbai have resulted in poor response at the weekend. And it's a sad account for a film that ought to do well. The only hope that the makers can have is that it will hold its own in the coming days due to word of mouth.

As I came out of watching 'Golmaal' I had this feeling that one can make a sequel. 'You are the seventeenth or eighteenth person who has told me this thing. I had no plans so far, but since you guys are saying it, I may have to push ahead and do it. But still it's too early to get carried away' Shetty adds wisely.

'Golmaal' is a clean fun flick that can be enjoyed with one's family or friends. Rohit Shetty is going to be a name to be reckoned with in the coming days as this film shall catapult him to Big Times. He must be really hoping that the film picks up after a nervous start.
