After 'Hanuman' arrives an animated version of 'Krishna'

Animation film 'Hanuman' released last year and created a number of records across the country through its theatrical and DVD revenue. This year 'Krishna' may repeat the same feat when it releases this festive season.

Originally slated to arrive in December last year, the film's post production took a longer duration than anticipated earlier but is now set to hit the marquee. An animated musical film produced by Shashikant Chheda / Amit Chheda and directed by Aman Khan, the film promises brings out all these aspects of Lord Krishna's life in a highly colorful and entertaining manner, which is sure to appeal to everyone alike. This inspired and entertaining film shall ensure the teachings and virtues of the Lord are sure to be enjoyed and passed on to present and future generations for years to come.

This 95 minute Hindi film narrates the tale of the Lord's birth through to his childhood years in Gokul and then Vrindavan, where Yashodha and Nand raised him as their own son, and his slaying of Kansa, the evil ruler of Mathura. Lord Krishna's childhood is interspersed with various adventures including his fights with demons like Pootna, Trinavarat and many more. This animated feature also brings to life Lord Krishna's naughty aspects like breaking pots of butter, and other adventures.

Another enchanting aspect of Lord Krishna's life of playing the flute and bewitching the gopis, who become eternally devoted to him and indulge in Ras Leela, is beautifully depicted in this entertaining feature. Lord Krishna, as a very young man returns to Mathura and finally overthrows his evil uncle Kansa, and becomes the ruler of the Yadavas at Mathura, thus bringing to an end this fascinating story of his birth and childhood days.
