Another one aimed at Big B

Why on earth will Anurag Basu, the successful director of such hit films like 'Gangster' and 'Life in a metro' describe megastar Amitabh Bachchan's acting capabilities to have started to get mechanical and advice Big B to retire before his acting gets worse?

And did the megastar believe this after hearing from someone or did he really read the interview. Even if he read it, why a person like Mr.Bachchan having a larger than life image among his fans react to such a report as he in all these years spend in B-Town would have come face to face with 1000 or more such opinions and suggestions from time to time.

Good questions that comes out of curiosity, but of course ill fated to be without the company of sensible answers.

But did Anurag, a new kid on the block when compared with the experience of Mr. Bachchan really say it or just like a lot of similar cases before, has some words been twisted and manipulated beyond recognition.

As a debate on the retirement plans of Big B have been triggered due to the report coming out and with various actors giving out their opinions and at the same time some even spitting venom on Mr.Basu, a clear cut answer can be expected from the director himself in the coming days.

In the published interview, the director have apparently said that he preferred old classic movies of Big B rather than the new films in which he is acting, but he also said about the immense respect he had for Amitabh and that only because of this liking for the great actor that he became a director.

Amitabh Bachchan in reply told that he needs no one to suggest him when to retire and that out of all people like a journalist and some directors who predicted his doom long back, the journalist has gone into the other world and the directors who liked to see bad days for the actor have now stopped directing any more films.

Bachchan also added that he don't wish to see such barren future for the talented director.

As the people say, truth can't be hidden for long, so let the time bring out the reality.
