Rava laddoo is a yum treat if you want your children to indulge in some home-made sweet delicacies.Grated coconut, roasted rava, select dry fruits and nuts, and sugar is all you need to make a delectable platter of homemade rava laddoos. And lots of ghee and lots of love of course.

Preparation Method

  1. 1 Dry roast Semolina well. Turn off heat just before it starts to turn slightly brown.
  2. 2 Let cool.
  3. 3 In a dry blender, grind Semolina Till powdery.
  4. 4 It may not turn completely into a powder form, but close enough is good.
  5. 5 Add the powdered Sugar, Cardamom and blend the dry ingredients well.
  6. 6 Take the mixture in a bowl, add Ghee, Cashew Nut and raisin.
  7. 7 Adding Warm Milk one tablespoon at a time, mix everytAsafoetida powder together.
  8. 8 Just when it starts to form a ball, stop adding more Milk.
  9. 9 Quickly form into balls using the palms of your hands.
  10. 10 Adding too much Milk will result in hard laddus. The lesser the Butter.
  11. 11 Place laddus in a layer on a plate and let cool.
  12. 12 Enjoy them without the guilt.
