Kerala Duck Curry
Ingredients :
- Duck 1kg cal
- Tomato 1 5.18 cal
- Onion 3 15.42 cal
- Chilly powder 2 tbsp 76.8 cal
- Coriander powder 2 tbsp 66.98 cal
- Ginger 1 Small piece 0.80 cal
- Green chilly 5 40 cal
- Garlic 3 cloves 4.47 cal
- Turmeric powder ½ tsp 7.1 cal
- Garam masala 1 tbsp 40.3 cal
- Coconut oil 1 desertspoon 120 cal
- Mustard ½ tsp 1.3 cal
- Curry leaves 2 stem cal
- Salt As required 0 cal
- Coriander leaves for garnishing cal
Method :
1.
Clean Duck and cut into pieces.
2.
Slice Onion, Ginger, Green chilly and Garlic.
3.
Make a paste of Chilly powder, Coriander powder and Tomato.
4.
Heat oil in a kadai, splutter mustard and the sliced items, sauté well.
5.
Add Curry leaves, tomato paste and stir.
6.
Add duck pieces, salt and water.
7.
When the Duck starts cooking add Garam masala.
8.
Keep in low flame till the Gravy becomes thick.
9.
Garnish with Coriander leaves.
