Ready to roll

Come May, director Bala will commence his much-expected Naan Kadavul starring Ajith.

The movie was slated to begin a couple of months back. But Ajith was busy with his earlier commitments and the shooting had to be postponed.

Bala's last venture was Pithamagan which was released almost a couple of years ago which won for Vikram the national award for the best actor.

Ajith, whose career faced a slump, is looking up now thanks to the decent showing in Paramasivan and a bumper opening for Tirupathi. Ilayaraja is expected to score music for the movie which would be shot mostly in Varanasi.
