A rare honour for Kamal Hassan

Kamal Hassan should have lost count of number of awards and honors that he would have received over the years for his acting skills.

Honored with Padmashree besides a host of Filmfare awards, Kamal, who won the coveted National award for the best actor thrice, will add one more feather to his cap soon.

A Mumbai based UFO Digital Cinema Company has selected Kamal Hassan for the 'contemporary living legend of year 2007' award.

According to a press release, the actor would be conferred with the award on 28 March at a function to be held in Mumbai.

Kamal Hassan is one of the rare breed of actors who had stamped his class doing versatile role in almost all the Indian languages.

He is currently busy with Dasavatharam (featuring him in 10 roles). Buzz is the actor is sure to amass more awards once the film is released.
