Laila becomes Mom

Laila, who bid bye to acting after getting married in January 2006, is a happy mom now. She has given birth to a baby boy in Mumbai Tuesday.

The actress married Mehdi, an entrepreneur last year, at a time when her career was on a high in Tamil.

Both the mom and the baby are doing fine.

Laila had been part of several successful films in Tamil cinema.
