Kireedom in the waiting

A total of 20 theatres in Chennai will be screening Sivaji beginning 15 July. It has deprived theatres for several films that were planning for a release in the last week of June. Kireedom starring Ajith was initially slated for a release during the last week of June.

Directed by newcomer Vijay, even the postproduction for Kireedom was completed. Since all good theatres have been booked for Sivaji, the release of Kireedom has been tentatively postponed to July. Buzz is that the audio of Kireedom would be launched sans any fanfare.

Trisha plays Ajith'€™s ladylove in the movie. Raj Kiran is cast as Ajith'€™s father in the movie, which is being produced by veteran actor and producer Balaji'€™s Sujatha Cine Arts.
