Suriya rounding up Vel

After a gap of one year with Sillunu Oru Kadhal being his last, actor Suriya is busy wrapping up the shoot for his Vel. The movie features Suriya in a dual role and acting opposite him is Asin, who plays a radio jockey. A major portion of the movie was shot in a village near Tirunelveli.

Speaking on the movie, Suriya says, '��We have highlighted the need for the joint family system that is on the decline today. Our culture and values are lost due to the emergence of nuclear families'��.

Vel will hit the screens for Diwali. Meanwhile, the shooting for Suriya's Varanam Aayiram, directed by Goutham Menon, will resume after the actor completes Vel.
