Parthiban in, Prithvi out

Director - actor Parthiban, known for his unique and casual style of acting, is now a busy bee. He is getting some plump roles to boost his career as a versatile performer. He has been roped in for an important role in Selvaraghavan's '€˜Aayirathil Oruvan'€™. The role was initially written for Dhanush but finally it landed on Parthiban'€™s lap.

Meanwhile Madhumitha, a former associate of director Gautham Menon, will be directing Parthiban in '€˜Vallamai Thaaraayo'€™. Though Madhumitha opted for Prithviraj initially, she has now decided to have Parthiban in the lead role. Now she is in search of a heroine.

Parthiban meanwhile, hasn'€™t given up directing films. He is directing '€˜Vithagan'€™, in which he plays the lead role.
