Sathyaraj’s gesture towards his mentor MGR

Sathyaraj, an ardent fan of yesteryears'€™ super star MGR, has come forward to act for free if anybody signs him for a movie on the legendary star. "I will act without demanding any remuneration if anybody approaches me to act in a biographical film on MGR", declared the actor.

It is a well known fact that Sathyaraj is one of the die hard fans of MGR. After playing the legendary leader of Tamil Nadu E.V.R. Periyar, Sathyaraj is keen in taking up significant roles that could add value to his career instead of just adding up the number of his films.

Already we had a film made on MGR by none other than ace director Mani Rathnam. Iruvar, however, concentrated more on the friendship of MGR and M. Karunanidhi.

If someone like Gnana Rajasekaran, who had earlier made films on the lives of Subramaniya Bharathiyar and Periyar, chooses to make a film on MGR, he has a star, who could be handy to handle the role without taking any salary.
