Lakshmi Rai dubs for her role

Following Asin and Sneha, another heroine, whose mother tongue is not Tamil, has decided to dub for her roles.

The girl, who made her entry in Tamil films with 'Karka Kasadara' hasn'€™t got accustomed with Tamil even after staying in Chennai for two and half years. The 'Dhaam Dhoom' unit, however, has told her to dub for her role in the film. She has donned the role of a Tamil girl who has settled in Russia. So her 'Childlike' rendition of Tamil would go with the role, the team believes.

Jayam Ravi, the hero of the film, goes to Russia on a five day tour and gets into trouble. Since his English or Tamil are not useful in Russia, he is not able to tell anybody about his problem. He meets Lakshmi Rai, who is a lawyer in Russia. She helps him get out of the trouble. In the process, you know what happens between them.

'Dhaam Dhoom' is expected to be released by Pongal. Lakshmi Rai is banking on the film directed by Jeeva, who passed away in Russia, for a break in her career.
