Vikram and Lingusamy: Rare Gesture

Everyone knows that '€˜Bheemaa'€™ hits the screens after a lot of struggle. The financial crisis of the producer A.M. Rathnam has caused severe setback to the movie in the process of making.

However, Rathnam had the rock solid support of his teammates, who stood with him in the time of crisis. No one in the team opted of it because of the delay. Almost each of them has sacrificed something to help the movie getting completed.

Apart from rendering amazing cooperation without bothering about his career for two years, hero Vikram has gone a step further to help the movie to come out. He is reported to have come forward to reduce one crore rupee from his salary to make the task of bringing out the movie easier.

Bheema in Mahabharatha is known for bearing others'€™ burdens. Here the hero of the movie '€˜Bheemaa'€™ has come forward to bear the burden of his producer.

Director Lingusamy, on his part, is believed to have given up Rs. 30 lakhs to help the producer to bring out the movie.

It is indeed a very rare gesture in a field where everything is calculated by money.
