February ends with four new releases

The last day of 2008 February would witness four new releases with 'Thotta', 'Silanerangalil', 'Vambu Sandai', 'Ponmagal Vandhal' hitting the halls on February 29. The foursome release over the weekend is confirmed by the advertisements in the news papers.

All the releases are awaited eagerly for one reason or the other. Jeevan '€“ Priyamani starrer 'Thotta', for example, is expected will curiosity, as it comes after a lackluster affair '€˜Machakkaran'€™ by Jeevan. Priyamani'€™s efforts to establish herself as a glamour heroine continue in this film too. The film is said to be a masala entertainer.

'Silanerangalil', directed by famous Malayalam director Jayaram, marks the transformation of Vincent Asokan as hero. The musical thriller is awaited with much anticipation.

'Vambu Sandai' will be typical Sathyaraj brand masala flick with Uday Kiran and Diya playing the young lovers. Raj Kapoor directs the movie, which has music by Imman.

Director E.M. Ramamoorthy'€™s 'Ponmagal Vandhal', with many new faces might spring a few surprises.

'Vellithirai' and 'Yaradi Nee Mohini', the two big films that were planned to be released in February, have been postponed to March.
