K.V. Anand and Suriya
MusicMazaa.com ( March 28, 2008 )Suriya and KV Anand, who have teamed up for 'Ayan', produced by AVM, share a long standing relationship. It was Anand who did the photo session for Suriya before his first venture 'Nerukku Ner' produced by Madras Talkies and directed by Vasanth. Suriya recalled this during the launch function of 'Ayan'.
Anand reveals that he knows Suriya right from the days when he was just Saravanan (Suriya's original name). 'The boy was very innocent. He was not at all willing to act in the film when Vasanth called him to act in 'Nerukku Ner'. We compelled him to act', says Anand.
He also informs that he narrated the one liner of 'Ayan' to Suriya long back when they met in the shooting for a commercial. Suriya was much impressed and gave his nod immediately.
Anand has showered lot of praise on the young actor in a recent interview: 'The growth of the actor is stunning. He has been shaped up well by directors like Bala and Ameer.'
