S A Chandrasekar and the young heroes

Experienced director S.A. Chandrasekar, who is the president of Directors Association, is still matching the speed of the youngsters. He closely watches the entry of young heroes in the field and gives them an opportunity to act in his film.

Though the director is not making film as frequently as he used to do on his earlier days, he makes it a point to encourage new aspirants by offering them a film. He cast Suriya in his film '€˜Periyanna'€™, when the young hero entered the film world. After seeing '€˜Chithiram Pesuthadi'€™, he cast Narain in his '€˜Nenjirukkujm Varai'€™. Likewise he has been giving chances to many young heroes. Now he is planning to cast Sathya, who made his debut in '€˜Valluvan Vasuki'€™.

Chandrasekar, it seems, knows the value of a good platform for the youngsters to prove their caliber.
