Ameer injured while shooting

Director - actor Ameer sustained fracture in his right hand while shooting for his '€˜Yogi'€™, in which he is playing the lead role.

The shooting was on at AVM Studios where a fighting scene was shot. Ameer, while jumping from 40 feet high sustained fracture in his right hand. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital.

Ameer, who proved his mettle as a director to reckon with in Kollywood with back -to-back hits in '€˜Mounam Pesiyadhae'€™, '€˜Ram'€™ and '€˜Paruthiveeran'€™, is making his debut venture as hero with '€˜Yogi'€™.

Directed by Subramaniam Siva, the movie features Madhumitha opposite Ameer. Ameer has been advised rest for the next couple of weeks.
