Following a legal notice from a senior police officer to the producer and director of 'Nepali' to remove certain scenes in the movie which portrays police in bad light, director V Z Durai has agreed to remove them from the movie.
The movie had certain sequences in which a top cop is shown allegedly behaving in a bad manner to a Meera Jasmine and also a jailer moving around in an inebriated condition. It resulted in protest from certain section of the police officers.
Durai has assured that those scenes would be edited and the new version will be screened in theatres in the next couple of days.
