Ban on director Samy revoked

Controversial film director Samy, who was banned for a year for slapping actress Padmapriya in the sets of '€˜Mirugam'€™, can breathe fresh air now.
The ban imposed on him last October has been revoked following his representation to various film associations.
Samy, who directed films like '€˜Uyir'€™ and '€˜Mirugam'€™, is now gearing up to commence his next directorial venture which is based on ancient traditional sports. Rajkiran will play the title role in the movie.
Expressing happiness at the ban being revoked, Samy said, ' I will let my movies do all the talking henceforth'.
