New role for Ramana

Remember director Ramana. He made it big with his maiden directorial venture '€˜Thirumalai'€™ starring Vijay.

However he could not continue his success streak as his next films including '€˜Sullan'€™ and '€˜Aathi'€™ sunk without a trace at the box office.

Now he joins the long list of directors taking to action. He is all set to don the greasepaint, that too as a villain.

Sources have it that the filmmaker would do the baddie in a film to be directed by Vijay's father S A Chandrasekaran.

Meanwhile, Ramana is also gearing up to direct a movie with an up and coming actor in the lead.
