Viji to work for Mirchi Movies

Mirchi Movies Limited, the entertainment arm of the Times Group, has signed director Viji, who wielded the megaphone for '��Vellithirai'��.

Buzz is that the movie would be movie would go to floors on September.

'��Vellithirai'�� went on to collect good revenue at the box office and Prithviraj, Prakash Raj and Gopika's performance was widely acclaimed.

In the past, Viji had written dialogues for the '��Mozhi'��, '��Majaa'�� and '��M Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi'��.

Mirchi Movies Limited is an independent production house that has acquired the remake rights of the Malayalam blockbuster '��Chocolate'�� and has also signed the promising young director Milind Rau, former assistant to Mani Ratnam for a film called '��Kaadhal 2 Kalyanam'��.
