'Karthikai' tells a story of relationships

The highly successful producer M.Anjaneya of films like 'Seema Sastri' and 'Girlfriend' in Tollywood is eyeing the Kollywood film market with his debut Tamil venture 'Karthikai' to be made under his banner Chithi Vinayagar.

The film has the sultry Malavika and Samiksha as the leading ladies opposite Vikramaditya who acted as the hero in the film 'Whistle'.

The first schedule of the shooting has got over in Bangkok and the unit will now move on to the other places like Ramesharam, Dhanushkodi and Kodaikkanal for the scenes which remain to be canned.

The director of the film Veera is the man behind the story and the screenplay of the film and is directing a Tamil film for the first time.

Deva composes the music, Cinematography is by T.Rajender, Chreography is taken care by Ashokraj and the lyrics written by Snegan.

Kadhal Dhandapani, Rani Satyan, Srihari, Suman and Suman shetty are some of the other cast members of 'Karthikai' which has a storyline about the relationships between brothers and also between a father and his sons.

What will be the response to this new venture by a new producer and what difference he brings to the frequently told stories about relationships is left to be seen.
