Captain Vijayakanth is happy and relieved at the success of his 150th film 'Arasangam'.
Directed by Madesh, the movie features Vijayakanth as an instructor in a police college, who cracks a major crime in foreign soil.
With his recent films taking a beating at the box-office, the runaway success of 'Arasangam' has brought cheers on his face.
A busy politician, Vijayakanth is shooting for 'Engal Aasaan' next. He plays a bank man in the movie.
My heart beats for variety, he says and adds, and 'my cop films are strikingly different from others.'
On 'Arasangam's' success, he says, 'It would've been a bigger hit if I had the time to promote the film properly but I've been busy with my political appointments and I'm trying to fit everything into a day'.
