Director Renjith in Tamil

Scriptwriter turned director Renjith is planning to make a try in Tamil cinema. His debut Kollywood movie, will feature Prithviraj in the lead. Malayalam actress Karthika will appear as the heroine of this not yet titled movie, which is planned to be produced by Damor films.

Many will remember that it was the same renjith who gave a break to the young actor Prithviraj, with the hit 'Nandhanam' which came six years ago.

Renjith is now at a crucial point of his career with his last four films proving dud at the box Office. Starting from Chandratsavam, which came three years ago, none of his films after that could bring in any satisfiable profits from the theatres. Moreover his last movie 'Rock N Roll' even failed to invite the typical 'Lal' initial.

At this point of a sinking career, it is the time for pay back for Prithvi, to his mentor. He is also appearing in the lead of Renjith's another experimental Malayalam movie 'Thirakkatha', which is also presently in the sets.

Renjith will start his Tamil movie after completing the works of 'Thirakkatha', which is also a home production of his capitol theatres.
