Karunaas's turn to play hero

It's now the turn of comedian Karunaas to play the hero. He joins the list of Vivek, Vadivelu, Santhanam and Ganja Karuppu to don the hero's role.

The comedian, who was introduced by director Bala in '€˜Nandha'€™, had acted in several films and won several accolades. A popular musician, he ventured to distribute Jeeva starrer '€˜Kattradhu Thamizh'€™.

Now he would be playing the lead role in the Tamil remake of the Malayalam hit '€˜Vadakku Nokki Yanthram'€™, a movie which starred Srinivasan in the lead role.

Shooting is on at Karaikudi and details of the star cast are kept a close secret.
