Saravanan in an interesting role

After the resounding success of '€˜Paruthi Veeran'€™, actor Saravanan will be playing a Boom Boom Maatukkaran in the film '€˜Vannakkamma'€™. Vishnupriyan joins him in this film that talks about two young boys who go to jail and come out only to see a friendless and indifferent world and yet they have to eek out a living somehow.

They start looting houses coming in different disguises and that is where the fun probably is.

Initially the writer and director of the film Anbu Thennarasu had the troublesome duo don the costumes of Lord Ram and Hanuman. Hindu organizations objected to it and the director re-shot the scene using the Boom Boom Maatukkaran getup.

A debutante by name Swathika plays the heroine and will be joined by Madan Bob and Vennira Aadai Moorthy in interesting roles.
