We are not keen on a remake: Lingusamy

Lingusamy has denied reports that his forthcoming directorial venture starring Karthi is the remake of a Telugu movie.

According to the director, 'after '€˜Bheemaa'€™, I would be directing Karthi for a movie to be produced by our own company - Thirupathi Brothers. It would be an action-packed film and would feature Karthi in a different role'.

Efforts are on to convince Nayanthara to don the female lead. Meanwhile Karthi is busy completing his next film '€˜Aayirathil Oruvan'€™, directed by Selvaraghavan.

Lingusamy's other production venture '€˜Pattalam'€™ starring Nadhiya is shaping up at a brisk pace.
