Priyamani opposite Bharath

Fresh and rejuvenated after winning the National Award for best actress, Priyamani has bagged a plump role and is slated to act opposite Bharath for a movie to be directed by Suresh Krishna.

Bharath, is on a high after back-to-back hits with '€˜Pazhani'€™ and '€˜Nepali'€™. He is currently shooting for '€˜Sevval'€™, directed by Hari.

After completing '€˜Sevval'€™, he would play the lead in director Suresh Krishna's movie titled '€˜Arumugham'€™. It is reported that there was an intense search for a heroine to play the role and director Suresh Krishna zeroed in on Priyamani.

On an understandable high after the success of '€˜Paruthi Veeran'€™ and '€˜Malaikottai'€™, Priyamani is confident of continuing her success streak with '€˜Arumugham'€™.

Priyamani is also expected to work with directors Mani Ratnam and Shankar soon. Who said talent doesn't take you places?
