Laurels for 'Thoovaanam'

'��Thoovanam'��, a film directed by Newton and Haricharan, has managed to bag a rare honor. It has been chosen for screening at the coveted Osian Cinefan Film festival of Asian and Arab Cinema on the10th of July.

Starring Kaushik and Naethra in the lead roles, the movie won rave reviews. It had no punch dialogues, gory stunt sequences or double-meaning comedy scenes.

The movie had cinematography by the talented Madhu Ambat and music by Issac Thomas. The movie would be screened in Mosaid, the non-competition section.

Director Haricharan is happy at the movie's screening at the film festival. He says, '��It is the reward for our hard work. This honor will provide us the much needed encouragement in order to come out with such films in the future'��.
