Sarath Kumar's daughter to start acting

Actor, politician Sarath Kumar's daughter Varalaxmi is all set to debut as heroine in a film titled 'Poda Podi', directed by Vignesh Siva, a school time buddy of actor Silambarasan.

Plans are on to shoot the film in beautiful Toronto, a major city in Canada. This feel-good youthful story will have Silambarasan as hero who is currently busy with 'Silambattam'. 'Poda Podi' will be produced by Gemini Film Circuit.

Silambarasan was in Toronto recently and word has it that he has obtained permission to shoot there for one long schedule of 90 days.

Varalaxmi, a trained Ballet and Salsa dancer was a natural choice for the filmmakers as they thought she would be just perfect for the role.

The director says, 'Silambarasan will have a new look with short gelled hair. There would be no punch lines or disturbing fight sequences in the film'. Music will be by Dharan and camera work by Nirav Shah.
