Promotional song for 'Poi Solla Porom'

Director Vijay, who made a mark for himself with his maiden directorial venture '€˜Kireedom'€™ starring Ajith and Trisha, is busy with his next project '€˜Poi Solla Porom'€™. Interestingly, this is director Priyadarshan's first production venture in Tamil and Vijay was his associate in many films and commercials.

Vijay has come out with an exclusive promotional song to be used only for publicity purposes. The song is a romantic number penned by Na Muthukumar and choreographed by Gayathri Raghuram. The promotional song would be aired on television channels soon.

The film stars 'Kanda Naal Muthal' Karthik, Piya, Nasser, Mouli and Nedumudi Venu. Shooting for the film is complete and post production work is going on right now. The film is expected to be released in the first week of August.

Says Vijay, 'The song will reflect the storyline of the film. Though the attempt is new in Kollywood, this has become a common feature in Hollywood and Bollywood.

The director also adds, 'we are planning for the music launch of '€˜Poi Solla Porom'€™ in July.'

Heaping loads of praise on Priyadarshan, Vijay said, 'I am happy that my mentor has selected me to direct his first production venture in Tamil. I hope the film will fulfill his expectations.'

The 'Subramaniyapuram' team has also made a special song just for publicity purposes.
