Wedding bells for Bharathi

Actress Bharathi shot to fame after her performance in 'Ammuvagiya Naan' starring Parthiban. Her performance as a sex worker won rave reviews and numerous filmmakers wanted her in their films. But a choosy Bharathi waited for performance oriented roles and signed up with 'Nenjathai Killathey' with Vikranth. Though the movie failed to make much of an impression, the actress had won many hearts again with her performance.

She is currently acting in 'Satrumun Kidaitha Thagaval'. This is when her marriage plans have taken top priority and had to reject offers such as 'Engal Aasaan' with Vijaykanth and 'Enga Raasi Nalla Raasi'.

Reports say that Bharathi is to marry a relative and that she would be bidding adieu to acting once and for all.
