'Ajith is my godfather' - Jai

Jai, son of music composer Deva's elder brother Sampath, is fast climbing the ladder of success. Though he acted in the Vijay starrer '��Bhagawathy'�� as the younger brother, Jai is a huge fan of Ajith. Jai made an impact with '��Chennai 600028'��.

'I thank Ajith sir for the all his advice and guidance that has helped me make a career out of acting. He was very friendly and advised me on various things with regard to the industry', Jai says.

The young and aspiring actor is eagerly awaiting the release of his next film '��Subramaniapuram'��, directed by debutant and former associate of director Ameer, Sasi Kumar.

Awaiting the release of '��Subramaniapuram'��, Jai says, '�� '��Chennai 600028'�� was a fun-filled film shot entirely in Chennai, whereas '��Subramaniapuram'�� was made in rural areas of Madurai. It is a serious film. I play an ordinary youth Azhagar, who falls in love with a college student.'��

My forthcoming films include '��Rakozhi'��, '��Aval Peyar Thamizharasi'��, '��Rettai Suzhi'�� and another movie to be directed by Venkat Prabhu.

Says Jai, ' I wanted to become a music director and started playing key-board initially. However director Venkatesh took me to acting. After four years of my entry, I am placed comfortably in the industry'.
