One more on Periyar

After the bio-pic on rationalist leader '€˜Periyar'€™ by director Gnanarajasekaran which featured Sathyaraj in the lead role, acclaimed cinematographer and director Velu Prabhakaran and lyricist Snehan are coming together to produce a movie on Periyar again.

The rumors are that the movie titled '€˜Naveena Periyar'€™ (Modern Periyar) is about the principles and thoughts of the great leader. It is reported that it is fictional and would feature the ills prevailing in today's society.
