Jeeva is poised
MusicMazaa.com ( October 11, 2006 )
Jeeva is confident that his E would make it big this Deepavali.
Produced by R B Choudhary, the movie directed by Jhananathan is set for release for Deepavali.
Speaking about the film, Jeeva, says, 'It is the short form of Eswaran, my character in the film. Nayantra is the heroine. It is not an out-an-out sci-fi film but dwells on bio-war and bio-terrorism. The movie is padded with enough local flavor for the masses to identify the character. I play a local crook from the slum in the film'.
Jeeva is also very confident of Jhananathan's approach. 'I was impressed with Jhananathan's Iyarkai, which was a well-narrated serious romantic film. His narration of E moved me. His matured way of handling every character in the film and faith in his script amazed me. I deem it fortunate to be part of a National award winner's film. As my role was complicated the director sat with me to detail the script and outline the character. In a friendly ambience, shooting during the heavy floods last year was an experience itself.'
Post E, Jeeva is shooting for Pori. He would soon commence his next Thamizh MA. Says Jeeva, 'I am keen on doing versatile roles. I choose them with caution. Doing different roles would help me stay for long in the industry'.
