Cyanide is Kuppy

Cynaide, the Kannada movie based on former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's assassination, is now being remade in Tamil. It is titled Kuppy in Tamil. Featuring Malavika, Nasser and National award winning actress Thara, the Tamil version is being produced by Vishwas Sundar, who is also directing a movie in Tamil titled Ninaithalae.

Though a major portion of the movie has been retained for the Tamil version, a few scenes are being shot in Chennai, Sri Perumbudur and Bangalore. The movie has cinematography by R Rathinavelu.

Cynaide has been declared a hit in Kannada and is still running to packed houses.

Malavika's role as LTTE cadre Subha (involved in Rajiv Gandhi's killing) has been widely acclaimed. Will Kuppy recreate the magic of Cyanide?
