Two Bharath movies on the same day?

Kalaipuli Thanu has produced Chennai Kadhal starring Bharath and Genelia under the direction of Vikraman.

Director Shankar has also produced a movie with Bharath and Bhavana under the director Vasanthabalan, titled Veyyil.

Veyyil was supposed to be released this November. But after it was delayed, Shankar chose his lucky December 8 for its release. That is also the date that Thanu had decided to release his Chennai Kadhal.

An unwritten rule in the industry these days is that two films of the same hero should not release on the same day.

Let us see which film hits the screen first.
