Sandhya says 'No' to sister roles

Today's actors are pretty careful about the kind of image they exude.

Nobody wants to be typecast, especially in sister roles.

Sandhya is a good example of this.

After a promising start with Kadhal, the young girl kept herself busy with interesting films.

Right now, Sandhya is acting in the Telugu film Annavaram as the sister to the hero Pawan Kalyan.

Annavaram is the Telugu remake of the Tamil hit Thirupachi.

Having acted in the sister role, Sandhya is, however, clear that she should not be typecast in such roles. So she has said that she wouldn't do sister characters anymore.

Sandhya is currently doing Selvaraghavan's Idhu Malai Nerathu Mayakkam. This is an important movie for her and she is paired with Karthi in the film. Then she also has a movie with Prasanna for GV Films.

Thoondil and Koodal Nagar are the other movies she is doing.

So from now on, its an emphatic No to the 'Sister Act.'
