No Big B in Sivaji

Director Shankar has denied reports that appeared in several section of the media that 'Big B' Amitabh Bachchan has acted in Sivaji.

Shankar says, "We did not approach him to act in the movie."

Dwelling more on Sivaji, Shankar says, "We have completed over 75 percent of the movie and a couple of songs should be shot. The entire team is working towards meeting the expectations of the audience. I vouch that Sivaji would set a new trend in the industry."

"Plans are on to release Sivaji on 14 April. But it might be postponed," Shankar adds.

Shankar is equally thrilled that his production 'Veyyil' starring Bharath and Bhavana would be released this month.

He says, "I have faith in Veyyil's script. Director Vasantha Balan has done an excellent job. I am confident that Veyyil would do well."
