Dasavatharam in June 2007?

Kamal Haasan's Dasavatharam may not make it to theatres this Tamil New Year's day.

The movie featuring Kamal Haasan in ten different roles and directed by K S Ravikumar was initially slated for a release in April 2007.

Now sources in Ravikumar's unit confirm that the movie would hit the screens only during June 2007 (beginning of the next academic year).

They say that Kamal Haasan is keen on coming up with a technically brilliant work in Dasavatharam.

Lots need to be done during the post-production including digital grading. With the expertise of film personalities from Hollywood studios, post-production will be carried out. Hence with the consent of producer Oscar Ravichandran, Ravikumar is planning for a delayed release.

The crew is currently shooting in the USA.
