Long hair is in-thing these days. It was cricketer Mahendra Dhoni who made long hair a style statement. Then Telugu actor Nagarjuna followed the trend in 'Sri Ramadasu'. Now, Mahesh Babu is also sporting long hair for his role in Puri Jagan's 'Pokiri'.

The actor plays the role of a tough and rough guy in 'Pokiri'. So, he sports long hair with jeans and half-sleeve shirts in the film. It is said that he looks stunning in the new getup. The director said that the role in the film demands the actor to look rough. He added that they have poured their head on the costumes, as they have to match the image of the character.

The film has rowdy backdrop. Heroine Ileana has added glamour to the film with her role as an aerobics trainer. Actors like Prakash Raj, Nasser, Ashish Vidyarthi and Sayaji Shinde also play vital roles in the film.
